Ḥammād Ibn Salamah [Siyar Aʿlām Al-Nubalāʾ, (7/449)]

Ḥammād Ibn Salamah said:

“If I had the option, I would [still] prefer that Allāh held me accountable for my actions rather than my parents, since He is more merciful than even my own parents.”
